Joining our Association

The British Association of Spine Surgeons is primarily for surgeons who operate on the spine. The term British is inclusive of the British Isles in its entirety. It is not an exclusive society, and applications will be considered from all.

Formal support to join the society is required from an existing member who must have agreed to support your application. They will be contacted and you must provide contact details.

We are very keen to support surgeons in training to become members.

After submitting your application the BOA secretariat will send you a direct debit mandate which needs to be completed and returned. Your application will not be considered without this documentation. The executive will ratify and evaluate the information. Temporary membership will enable access to the members area. Annual subscription is £25 for the temporary membership, which when ratified rises on consultant appointment to £35.
